The unexpected reappearance of this long-lost cinematic gem in Los Angeles in 2017 sets the stage for the epic story of a family’s legacy that spans across four generations of filmmakers starting before the dawn of Hollywood, and takes us through a magical journey of life-stories filled with drama, intrigue, political turmoil, cultural clashes, and a compelling yet highly controversial part of American history that many are not aware even exists: the over a century-old tempestuous and at times bloodied love-hate relationship between the US Government and the citizens of Puerto Rico - the last remaining colony in the world.
